			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.fudgery.net/xfudge/plain_traits.html">Plain Traits for Fudge</a> is the first article I have &#8220;officially&#8221; posted in the <a href="http://www.fudgery.net/xfudge">Experimental Fudge</a> section of <a href="http://www.fudgery.net">Fudgery.net</a>. It isn&#8217;t anything revolutionary (some of the ideas were or might have been discussed on the FudgeList or elsewhere over the years), but I think the presentation is fairly streamlined. I wrote it in 2007 at about the time I was writing some similar <b><i>Sherpa</i></b> articles (<a href="http://www.fudgery.net/omnium-gatherum/sherpa_descriptive.html">Descriptive Traits for Sherpa</a> and <a href="http://www.fudgery.net/omnium-gatherum/sherpa_quasi.html">Quasi-Descriptive Traits for Sherpa</a>).</p>
<p>The reason I shelved the article is that I was dissatisfied with the examples I had written (originally there were two with the intention of including three), but a <a href="http://www.fudgeforum.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=525">recent discussion</a> at the <a href="http://www.fudgeforum.com">Fudge Forum</a> inspired me to salvage the article by rewriting the example.</p>
