My conversion of Fudge 1995 Edition to HTML (with and without CSS) is almost complete. I have just begun converting Chapter 6. I think Chapter 6 is my least favorite chapter — being almost nothing but character examples, and most of them too long. I suppose they serve their purpose, but I’d rather see them as part of a pamphlet, brochure, or flier, rather than occupying valuable space within the official rules. Note to self: When publishing own games, relegate character examples to a separate document; when publishing rules online, include links to the online version of the dedicated character example document.
I’d also rather see more characters generated with Subjective Character Creation. I understand the logic behind the examples provided, but I find subjectively created characters more interesting and certainly more in keeping with the Fudge ethos.
