Another gaming inspiration I forgot to mention in the previous article is the notion of drawing room horror/science fiction crossovers, of which at least one example was set in Scotland, namely the notorious Devil Girl from Mars (1954). Scoff if you like, but it’s an entertaining movie that could also serve as a good template for a single-session role-playing adventure. Just a thought.
The closest I’ll get to gaming tonight is possibly a game of Hammer of the Scots, but I doubt it. Och, well. Happy Burns Night, lads and lasses.
